New patterns!!!
I finally took the plunge and ordered two Jalie patterns - the stretch jeans and the sweetheart top. These have been on my wishlist for months. I was going to buy directly from Jalie, but for some reason found a link to fabric.com, who are selling the patterns at the same price as Jalie, and then found a 25% off coupon code at retailmenot.com, and it worked! It worked out to the same price per pattern as I would have got at Jalie on their "Buy 3 Get 1 Free" offer. Still about double I would have paid for a burda pattern locally, but I will probably be able to make jeans and shirts for myself and my daughter from the Jalie patterns, so I'm thinking it's worth the expense. And now I'll be able to sew along on the new Jeans Sewalong on patternreview.com! Yeehaw!
Jippieeee!
I love Jalie patterns! It's so nice to be able to sew for a toddler and yourself all from one pattern. The fit is always good too.

I love those jeans. I know a lot of people have made them with great success. I'm still intimidated to try such a "serious" pattern but I can't wait to hear how it goes.
