Shopping
This morning on my way to buy groceries, my car just happened to pass by my favourite upmarket fabric shop, The Fabric Gallery. A sign outside said "Stretch knits on sale - reduced to clear". Couldn't resist!
I am still trying to perfect my Jalie t-shirt fit, but I liked this grey zebra-print knit so much that I bought 1.5 metres for a long-sleeved t-shirt.
The Fabric Gallery specializes in bridal wear and silks and also makes evening wear on the premises, so their remnant bin is always full of surprises. I found two lovely pieces. A 75 cm piece of 2-way stretch silver-grey lycra, enough for a bra and two panties. I love the colour and finish of the fabric (actually a bit lighter and more silvery than in the photo).
The other is only 65 cm, but the fabric was saying "french knickers or a camisole" in a very silky voice. I got all three pieces at marked-down prices, so am very pleased with my purchase.
Thank goodness I didn't sign up for the "4 in a row" initiative at the lingerie forum! (The idea is to make 4 sets from your stash without buying anything except thread - with a heavy "penalty" you choose ahead of time, something you really hate doing.)

The fabric is talking to you as well, haha. It always says to me 'buy me' like the french fries in our canteen. Can't wait to see the french knickers or camisole. Enjoy your treasures!
